I am a UEFA Licensed Level 1 and 2 Futsal Coach. I have completed the FA Youth Awards 1, 2 and 3 as a Football Coach and also UEFA B qualified. During my time as a coach, I have worked as a PE Teacher in schools, Grass Root Football Clubs, Soccer Camps, International Tournaments and at Premier League Academy Level.
I have experience working in the Foundation Levels with the 4-11 age range in schools. At Premier League Academy Football ,I coached the 9-16’s age groups.
I started as a Youth Player at the age of 9 at Watford FC before moving to Wycombe Wanderers. I signed Professional forms with Wycombe aged 18. I captained both the Youth Team and the Reserves and was awarded Youth Team Player of the year.
In 2009, I was drafted into the Maccabi Great Britain Mens’ side to play in the Maccabiah Games in Israel, where the team went on to win Silver.
On my return, I signed a one year Pro contract with Ebbsfleet United FC where I made several first team appearances. I moved to Bishop Stortford FC scoring 12 goals in my last 24 matches.
I was signed by Braintree FC of the Conference South and went on to win a League Champions medal. The time then came to make a decision, either pursue a coaching career or continue playing. I chose coaching.
I was appointed as an Academy Coach for Barnet Football Club, where I was headhunted to join QPR. After two seasons, I was appointed the Lead Coach for the Great Britian Maccabiah U18’s side (they won Bronze).
During the 2011-2012 season, I was offered the position of a PE Teacher in four Jewish Primary Schools. I was also given the opportunity to coach at the Maccabi European Games as the assistant manager for the Under 16’s team – the team won Gold.
I have been teaching for 5 years now covering all primary school ages from 4-11 years old. I moved into teaching as I wanted to pass on my experience and skills, nurture young talent and encourage children to develop their skills.
In 2013, I started playing Futsal – a game that I found a great passion for. I was selected for the England Development Futsal Squad and have been selected for the last 6 training camps.
Recently, I was also appointed Lead Futsal Coordinator for Queens Park Rangers where I deliver the Futsal sessions for the whole academy. I have been able to link Futsal to QPR's syllabus and club’s philosophy. Recently, I have signed for one of the top teams in the country, Helvecia Futsal Team who are in the FA Cup Finals and Super League.
From all these experiences, SFC Academy was born. I saw a demand for an academy locally - many parents encouraged me to take the leap as there was a need and a want to develop their children's talents further. I believe that children thrive in a fun environment.
